Yeah, I’m just going to apologise in advance, because I’m pretty sure this is going to be a ‘thing’ for me.

"I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened."
"So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil.”

Rickon Stark does not remember what Winterfell looked like before it was sacked, but when he sees it again for the first time after he left Skagos, he remembers what it looked like on the day he left. He sees the burning ruins, he hears the screams of dying townsfolk and animals alike, he smells death and decay.
When he closes his eyes, a single tear rolls down his cheek. He mourns the family he doesn’t remember and the childhood he could’ve had.  He wipes the tear away angrily and vows that he will re-build Winterfell, so that his pack may finally return to him. He vows that he will make the Lannisters, the Boltons and the Freys pay for what they’ve done to his family.
There is a Stark in Winterfell again and the North remembers. He will show them what winter can truly be like. He will show them what it’s like to lose what they love.

30 ACTORS I ADMIRE - Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
This past June was my 20th year as an actor, since I left the National Theater school. I’ve always been working, but what’s so amazing is that there are very few moments where your own enthusiasm for a show is actually shared with an audience. That’s quite rare. It certainly doesn’t hurt to be on a show that people see and watch, and there’s no question that some of the opportunities I get now work-wise are related to Game of Thrones, for which I’m very grateful.
